Hayley Orrantia, an American actress, singer and music producer. She is best known as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy program "The Goldbergs". But she is primarily an avid music fan. She maintains that music is her primary passion. It is something she is experimenting with since she was nine years old. As she grew to the age of 12, the music she was playing took more serious form and she began to train professionally. As a teenager, she started writing herself songs. Her first cover album wasn't released until 14 years later. The rest is history. Orrantia was raised in the USA and yet she holds Hispanic roots. While she has never lived in or spoken Spanish in Mexico, she still feels extremely proud of her Hispanic heritage. To keep her heritage alive she's learning Spanish. Additionally, she creates songs based on the Spanish language. "Hasta Verte" is a song in Spanish that she's recorded is a good instance. Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia, who was initially picked by a panel of YouTube videos and received the four "yeses," from judges in Seattle during live audition phase. Though she initially auditioned in a single performance during "Hollywood Week" the singer, along with three female performers were put into an ensemble for the remainder of auditions. The group was eliminated at final show.
