Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights advocate, writer also a model, actor and author. She is renowned for her movies such as Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). When she was in New York, she was born into an artistic family. She started as a photography assistant and then turned to modeling and acting. MacGraw was awarded her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw's movie Love Story proved a major hit and fetched her worldwide fame and an Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. In just three films, MacGraw was declared the most successful female film in the history of box offices. The Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name with handprints, foot prints and handprints in the year 1972. The other films she's appeared in include The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw's been married three different occasions.
